24ú Meitheamh 2022

A thuismitheoirí,

Tá dul chun cinn maith á dhéanamh ar dhearadh/phleanáil an fhoirgnimh nua do Scoil an Droichid a bheidh suite ar iarshuíomh Ionad Acmhainne Ulidia, amuigh ó Shráid Somerset.

Chríochnaigh an Fhoireann Chomhairleach Chomhtháite (Amey FMP) RIBA Céim 3 (Institiúid Ríoga Ailtireacht na Breataine-Dearadh Forbartha) agus fuair siad faomhadh foirmiúil ón Roinn Oideachais ar an 23ú Meitheamh 2022 le leanúint ar aghaidh chuig an chéad chéim eile.

Tá obair anois críochnaithe ar RIBA Céim 4 (Dearadh Teicniúil) agus is am iontach agus gnóthach é seo do gach duine atá rannpháirteach sa tionscadal.

Leanfaidh Bord Tionscadail na scéime, ar a bhfuil ionadaithe ón scoil, ó Chomhairle na Gaelscolaíochta, ón Údarás Oideachais agus ón Roinn Oideachais de bheith ag soláthar nuashonruithe de réir mar a théann an scéim ar aghaidh.

Le dea-ghuí,

Claire Donnelly

Dear Parents,

Work on the design/planning of the new-build for Scoil an Droichid which will be situated on the former Ulidia Resource Centre site off the Somerset Street is progressing well.

The Integrated Consultant Team (Amey FMP) completed RIBA Stage 3 (Royal Institute of British Architecture-Developed Design) and received formal approval from the Department of Education on 23rd June 2022 to proceed to the next Stage.

Work has now commenced on RIBA Stage 4 (Technical Design) and this is an exciting and busy time for all involved in the project.

The scheme’s Project Board, which includes representatives from the school, the Comhairle na Gaelscolaíochta, the Education Authority and the Department of Education will continue to provide updates as the scheme progresses.

Regards

Claire Donnelly
