COVID-19 Reopening Litir ó Fhionnguala

13th Aug 2020

A thuistí,

We are very happy to be welcoming your children back to school! Can you please read the following information. The following measures have been put in place to ensure the health and safety of your children, families and staff. It is vital that we all work together to ensure everyone’s safety.

You MUST let the teacher know that you have read the information. You MUST return a signed copy of the Parent/School Agreement form that you received a few weeks ago in the post. You can hand this over when you are leaving child to school on first day.

If your child has a letter from the doctor stating that he/she is ‘vulnerable’ we must receive a copy.

Week beginning 24th August - all children will have two sessions in school to help them settle in. The first session will be with their teacher from last year.

Group A will be in school Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th 9am-12pm. Monday will be with last year’s teacher and Tuesday with their new teacher.

Group B will be in school Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th 9am-12pm. Wednesday will be with last year’s teacher and Thursday with their new teacher.

All children will return to school full time Tuesday 1st September. School dinners will begin 1st September also.

See the staff section for this year’s teachers.

Parents are not to come into office without being asked to do so. If you need to contact school do so via school office 0298 90313283 or seesaw.
